Morse Code Alphabet

The Morse code alphabet is A–Z in International Morse. Frequent letters are short on purpose: E is a single dot, T is a single dash, A is dit-dah. Q, J, and Z take longer, which keeps everyday English faster to send.

Morse is not case-sensitive. This chart always shows uppercase. Leave a short gap between letters (a space in text) and a longer gap between words (a slash here). That spacing is what makes a Morse code alphabet chart readable — on paper or on a bracelet.

Start with the short letters. You can already spell SOS and a handful of tiny words before you touch the rest of A to Z.

Morse code alphabet chart

Search by letter or by Morse. Print chart sends a clean A–Z sheet to your printer and hides the rest of the page.

Necklaces, bracelets, and spacing

Most Morse code necklaces and bracelets use this same alphabet. Stamp or bead one letter at a time. Keep a clear gap between letters or the sequence stops being readable. A larger gap marks a word — the difference between I LOVE YOU and a jumble.

Checking a gift? Decode the beads with the Morse to English tool, or encode a name on English to Morse. The phrase I love you in Morse code is written out letter by letter if that is what you are stamping.
